Lieba Nesis, known for covering the latest trends and hottest events in New York City and the Hamptons, held her birthday party on the Upper West Side. Joined by over one hundred friends and family, guests were greeted with a blue wristband documenting the big day as they entered the building. Another special feature was legendary photographer Patrick McMullan who was shooting the festivities for the enthusiastic crowd.
Amongst those enjoying the lite bites and drinks were Ray, Veronica and Greg Kelly. Greg recently welcomed a baby girl and being that this was the Kelly’s first grandchild they were overflowing with joy. Greg’s successful show on Newsmax had the guests requesting his famous Donald Trump imitation which he executed perfectly. The warmer than usual weather allowed guests to spill onto the outside balcony as well as the adjacent space which contained a photo booth. At close to 10 PM mezzo soprano and Metropolitan Opera Star Angel Blue sang Puccini’s “O Mio Babbino Caro” to a spellbound crowd; which she followed up with an encore performance of her Porgy and Bess hit “Summertime.” Blue continues to exhibit an incredible range of vocals with unanimous accolades from critics this past season. At close to midnight, the crowd began thinning out as Award winning Journalist Rita Cosby arrived- having just left the Television studio. Birthday cake and pastries were enjoyed as guests exchanged contact information and emails excitedly anticipating meeting up in the near future. The birthday girl was elated when she was gifted with a one-of-a-kind white feather coat from famed furrier and jewelry designer Helen Yarmak. Yarmak, who caters to the Russian oligarch crowd, discreetly left two fur jackets in a shopping bag which nearly went unnoticed.
