The Viennese Opera Ball celebrated the official opening of the debutante and escort application process for the their upcoming 65th Gala which will be held on Friday, February 7, 2020 at Cipriani 42nd Street. The evening was hosted at Cos Bar Brookfield Place, the exclusive luxury cosmetics and skin care boutique.
It was an evening of champagne, hors d’oeuvres and shopping, with live music from Violinist Victoria Patterson. Over 50 guests with notable attendees including: Designer Victor De Souza, American author Professor Ann Lee, Austrian Trade Commissioner Michael Friedl, Junior Chairs Colegate Rumbough and Emily Mohr, and President & Executive Director Silvia Frieser.

The Viennese Opera Ball, an annual white tie charity gala celebrates the cultural and economic relationships between Austria and America, connecting two continents, two cities and two centuries in one glamorous night. It was founded by Austrians immigrating to the United States 65 years ago, and is a tribute to both their former home town Vienna and their host city, New York.
