Resident Magazine Celebrates August Cover Star Georgina Bloomberg

Resident Magazine’s publisher Michael Travin, associate publisher Melissa Kassis, and editor-in-chief Hillary Latos hosted a party to celebrate Georgina Bloomberg, who is on the cover of Resident Magazine’s August 2017 issue. The invitation-only event was held at a private estate in Water Mill, New York.

About Georgina Bloomberg

Georgina Bloomberg is an accomplished professional show jumper based in New York City, North Salem, NY, and Wellington, Florida. Bloomberg represented the United States Equestrian Team at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto, Canada, where she earned a Team Bronze medal.

In addition to a successful equestrian career, Bloomberg has co-authored four young adult novels about the equestrian show circuit, The A Circuit, and is well known for her philanthropic efforts, particularly for her extensive animal welfare work and for founding The Rider’s Closet in 2006. Owner of the GCL Team Miami Glory, Georgina, along with an impressive all American-English team line-up including former London Olympic Gold Medalist Scott Brash, Rio Olympic Silver Medalist Kent Farrington, multiple Nation and World Cup US rider Kimberly Prince and Great Britain’s rising U25 star Jessica Mendoza, made their Team debut on the sands of Miami Beach in April 2017.
